About Modular Construction

Established in April 1976, the Modular Construction Company, Inc., was formed to bring it's customers a diverse line of quality offshore housings, control buildings and design built commercial and industrial buildings. We are located in St. Martinville, in the south central gulf coast region of Louisiana. Utilizing our experience in the field as a design build contractor for marine commercial and industrial entities, Modular takes pride in being able to solve any problems that may arise with a project from beginning to completion.

Modular has built steel, fiberglass, aluminum and sheetmetal quarters to USCG, SOLAS and MODU approved specifications as well as normal industry standards with equal success. A number of wall systems, including glassweld, therma-lag, vinyl coated sheet metal, FRP, Donn System and interlocking panels have been used as per specifications.

We're proud to mention that we've never encountered a problem completing a project in the allotted time frame. Having a substantial, skilled, workforce is one of our assets and we take pride in the fact that everything necessary is done to complete projects on schedule.

With Kenny Barras, President/Owner, Kenneth Theriot and Brad Broussard, Field Superintendents, Robert Savoy and Glen Touchet Project Managers, and Luke Barras, Office Manager/Estimator supervising the operations, Modular has enjoyed little employee turnover to insure quality personnel at all stages of construction.
